Hotseat: -------- - New turn summary displayed at the beginning of each turn. Multiplayer: ------------ - Escape key or Back button in lobby now asks for a confirmation to prevent disconnecting players. - All previous building are destroyed when you change your lord type before your first turn. AI: --- - AI is less likely to break an alliance. Miscellaneous: -------------- - Two new map sizes available: 120x120 and 144x144. - Added QuickLoad (CTRL+L) to load the QuickSave savegame. The QuickSave shortcut is still Q. Note that QuickSave and QuickLoad do not work in multiplayer (except in hotseat). - New button in the isometric palette to make resources visible at all times. - New button in party management screen to prevent a unit from upgrading into a new unit type. When used on a unit, that unit's type will remain the same for the remainder of the scenario, but the unit will continue to gain additional levels as that type. - Captured capitals now show damage on the map. - Number of turns required to reach a destination is now displayed next to the path (can be turned off in the Configuration Editor). - You can now reequip your leaders before exporting them at the end of a saga. - Animation of the AI's turn can be turned off to speed up AI turns (in Options screen). - Debunk screen now has scrolling text just like briefings. - Added more keyboard shortcuts. - Tooltips now display keyboard shortcuts. - If the game is not active when player input is required (battle, beginning of turn, diplomacy message...), the game's window flashes in the taskbar until you return to the game. - Version number is displayed in the main menu. - You can again turn off the intro in the Configuration Editor (had been removed in version 1.1). - Patch info file is copied to the game folder. Scenario Editor: ---------------- - Debunk "win" and "lose" text can now be edited. - Terrain, mountain and tree buttons are updated with Disciples II art. Bug fixes: ---------- - Export leader at saga end also exports equipped items. - Can no longer kick-out players in multiplayer games when player is in a battle to prevent dead-lock. - An alliance is broken when an event sets the relation to anything other than peace. - Sound and music volumes are disabled properly in the option screen when disabled in the Config Editor. - Units don't lose boosts/lowers/banners when they are transformed or have a level drained. - Moved the ability icons in the city screen so that it doesn't overlap the money icon. - Unit acknowledgement volume is set correctly when restarting the game. - Caret displays properly in the edit box of the chat interface when it is empty. - Fixed the description of the Holy Artifact. - Aligned title of Ruin encyclopedia in the Scenario Editor. ================================== Disciples II - Patch version 1.1 Change Log ================================== Multiplayer/Hotseat: -------------------- - Made allying with other human players easy - Capturing capital cities no longer ends game automatically - Chat messages can now appear in any interface, not just over the isometric map - You can press Enter to chat from within the battle interface - You can now save game during any player's turn in Hotseat - Added popup message before battle when human player gets attacked in Hotseat - IMPORTANT NOTE: This version (v1.1) will not let you start a multiplayer game with someone running an older version (v1.0) of Disciples II Game art: --------- - Added many new battle backgrounds - Darker portraits have been brightened - Added two missing leader ability icons Video: ------ - New Direct3D mode can be enabled in the updated Configuration Editor utility (Try this mode if you have problems with the default display mode.
